Case Study - Dairy Industry

Dairy case studyWe each consume 3 pints (1.5 litres) of milk per week. Daily, the World moves millions of crates of milk via networks of thousands of trucks. Milk is moved through the Supply Chain by hand barrows.

But at 440lbs (200kg) a stack, Milk is a very heavy load. There are significant safety issues with back and leg sprains and strains occurring frequently.  Every day, operators have to push barrows loaded with 440lbs of Milk at 2mph for their 12 hour shift. That’s 24 miles per day (literally a marathon).

Exercise is good, but manually moving loads this heavy just cause’s sprains and strains.  Repeatedly moving them all-day, every-day over miles from point-of-manufacture to point-of-sale is a serious OSH hazard.

The Mobot can carry 440lbs at 6mph 24/7. No larger than a coffee table, with zero-turning manoeuvrability the Mobot’s compact size allows it to operate inside trucks, across truck docks, narrow aisles and congested factory floors. It can go where no other forklift can.

While the Mobot is specifically designed to lift Bread and Milk, it can also be used in other fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries, super markets, light manufacturing, de-stuffing shipping containers and military markets.

About Us

Mobotech designs and manufactures robotic handling solutions for commercial applications. Its first product, Mobot, fills the gap between hand barrow and forklift. Due to health and safety constraints trucks doing deliveries of FMCG products are only running with 60% capacity. Its customers are large FMCG distributors/logistics companies. This disruptive technology gives logistics companies a ROI in less than 3 months.
